Chorley library

I'm working with chorley library currently for my degree show. I creating images on a large format camera, which takes negatives 5x4 inches. It creates a beautiful image. The project is about the library, it's history, archives and it's staff. I will post some images on here when I have them.
There is a chance that the images will with exhibited at the library this summer. They will defiantly be exhibited at uclan.
Keep checking in.

rolling forward

the zines are all printed and ready to be dropped off at St Catherines bookshop opposite the bus station. they should be there by THIS THURSDAY. all money goes towards St Catherines none goes to me so hopefully people will buy them up. there are only 25 copies so if you want one get in there quick (i say this hoping i have a couple of people reading this blog).

the market

i was introduced round the market the other day so i could meet the people and take photographs of them. there were so many names i forgot them all almost instantly much to my dismay but i remember john who i met last and who's picture i'm including in the blog with his wares.

thanks john, and all the other wonderful people i met on that frosty morning.

Photographing Chorley

I've spent the last few weeks wandering around Chorley town centre and Astley Park. I've chatted to a lot of people about what I'm doing, and encountered numbers of lovely fellow locals who have all made me further appreciate my home town.
I'm still in the process of putting this project together but i wanted to start up this blog as an partner to my zine and website so i could get some input from others in Chorley. I would love submissions of stories and pictures, or anything people want to share. I love my home town and I'm sure many many others do too. So here's an opportunity to celebrate it.
